My first week of school (2014-2015)

My first week of School HPIAM (2014-2015)

My first week of school was very easy, teachers just explained the syllabus and the things we are going to start learning about. I felt really excited to start school because I missed seeing my friends and teacher. As a junior I want to start studying and learning about what is going to be in the SAT's. The fist day of school I didn't not receive my classes and was stuck in the office all day. After receiving my schedule, I tried remembering it and saw that I knew and had the same teacher from last year. I also saw I had new teachers and new classes I have never taken. first period I have instruments with Mr.A, second period I have Mr.Haymore computer class, thirst period I have geometry with Ms.Matos, forth period I have sports med , fifth period I have great books with my last years English teacher Mr.Amaya, sixth period I have contemp comp basically 11th grade English, seventh period I have chemistry with my last years anatomy teacher Ms.Figueroa, last but not least my US history class with Ms.Arellano. I loved my schedule and I am looking forward to this school year. I plan to join a sport or club to get involved with my schools activities. my goal is to graduate and I will work hard to achieve it.

“ Education is the latchkey to success in life.”

-Gordon B. Hinckley

Reflection:

Sometimes things are not like they seem. Being smart and responsible at an adolescent age may probably make you seem weird and nerdy. To be successful you need to achieve great things in school. Getting good grades in an example. In order to receive the best education you must work hard and study even harder. The key to success are in the books you read for history and geometry class. Learning new things in school make you successful. You will not only be smart but in the future have a good paying job and meet a lot of wealthy people.

“Decisions determine Destiny.”

-Thomas S. Monson

Reflection:

My thoughts about this quote are that someone always has the option and make the decisions they wish. Choosing the right decisions may change your life completely and can determine where you are going to be in the future. This also includes bad decisions for example, choosing to drop out of high school. This can affect your destiny because you will not be able to get a good job in the future and may still be living in poverty for the rest of your life.  So in order to have a destiny you want, you have to make the right decisions now.  Obeying rules and policies can also determine your destiny. The little things you do and make an effort to will help you make better decisions. For example showing up on time to class and getting all your homework done  is showing you want a good destiny.
